Modern Communications Expert with a passion for people and technology
After my degree in Technical Business Administration at Saxion in Enschede, one thing was certain: I wanted to work at the intersection of business and technology. Not as a traditional tech specialist, but as someone who helps people and processes thrive using smart IT solutions.
For over a decade now, I’ve been working in the world of communication and collaboration. What fascinates me is the constant evolution: technology advances at lightning speed, while the way we work, meet, and share knowledge transforms alongside it. My role? Helping organizations adapt, tailored to their people, processes, and goals.
What I do
I help organizations set up, optimize, and successfully implement modern communication and collaboration platforms for the people who use them, with Microsoft 365 as the foundation. This includes:
- Microsoft Teams (including Teams Rooms and Teams Calling)
- SharePoint Online
- Exchange (on-premises and Online)
- Microsoft Viva (Topics, Connections, Learning)
- Microsoft Graph and automation via Power Platform
- Microsoft Purview
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
But my expertise doesn’t stop there. Beyond the cloud, I also have experience with hybrid environments, where other technologies play a key role. For example:
- Cisco IronPort for secure email routing and spam filtering
- Confluence for knowledge sharing and documentation processes
- OpenText ECM for structured document management in large organizations
It’s precisely this combination of Microsoft 365 and these complementary tools that allows me to oversee the entire flow of information and communication, from strategic advice to hands-on implementation.
What sets me apart
My background in Technical Business Administration gives me a broader perspective than IT alone. I understand how organizations think, where processes can break down, and how to drive successful change, not just in tools, but in behavior as well.
I always ask: What does this deliver for the user? Because real value only emerges when people understand it and want to use it.
I believe in clarity and doing what works, no buzzwords or lengthy reports, just a practical approach that makes an impact starting tomorrow. And when challenges arise? We’ll tackle them together. I enjoy collaborating with teams, stakeholders, and users to create solutions that are both embraced and sustainable.
Why I share what I learn
I’m curious and eager to learn. When I discover something new or come across a great solution in a project, I love sharing it. I believe we all get smarter when we exchange experiences.
